Overview

  • All travelers wanting to enter Sierra Leone must obtain authorization prior to arrival by clicking here.

    All land and sea borders are closed until further notice, with the exception of crossings with Guinea

    International airport has reopened to commercial flights.

  • There is no pre-arrival testing requirement at this time.

    There is no quarantine requirement for fully vaccinated travellers provided they hold a vaccination certificate showing the course was completed no less than 14 days prior to arrival.

    All unvaccinated travellers will be tested upon arrival (pre-paid both PCR and RDT).

    All unvaccinated travellers will be required to quarantine at a government-designed hotel until a negative test result is obtained.
